Autumn Workshop Series
Growing Your Life

Here at Twenty2Beyond, we offer an Inner Education to help you better understand and manage yourself, and be better able to shape your life in ways you value and enjoy more, through practical learning, discussion, and reflection. Twenty2Beyond helps people develop the understanding, qualities, and capabilities to live more consciously, kindly, and wisely.

This
Four-Part Autumn Workshop Series introduces some of these ideas and practices, and explores how we can start, continue, and enjoy growing who we are and how we live. Each workshop can be joined independently, but together they offer an integrated process of learning, growth, and hope.

2. BEING MORE HUMAN

How well do we really understand ourselves? And how much influence do we have over the way we think, feel, and react to life? This workshop explores self-awareness and self-direction through three aspects of our inner lives:
1. Thoughts - becoming more aware of how we think, how our thinking influences us, and how we can think differently.
2. Emotions - understanding our emotional reactions and  developing healthier responses.
3. Perspectives - recognising how the ways we see ourselves and the world shape us and how these can be shifted.
The Aim of the Workshop
For you to develop greater awareness of your inner thoughts, emotions, and outlooks, and to explore how you can take more conscious control of them and your life.

3. FINDING FOCUS IN A DISTRACTING WORLD

In a world full of competing priorities and distractions, how can we become more conscious of where we direct our attention and energy? This workshop introduces two important Twenty2Beyond qualities:
1. Active-Awareness - developing our ability to be more regularly conscious of what is happening inside and around us, as we go about our lives.
2. Discernment - developing our ability to consider, evaluate and judge things more wisely and kindly.
Together, these qualities can help us take more conscious control of ourselves and our lives.
The Aim of the Workshop
To understand and begin practising active awareness and discernment as ways of improving your focus and everyday engagement, as well as your choices and your direction.

TUESDAY 1ST DECEMBER 7.00-8.30PM

4. HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL

What gives us hope for the future? And how can we develop a greater sense of possibility and influence over the direction of our lives? This workshop explores hope through three interconnected elements:
1. Direction - developing a clearer sense of where we want ourselves and our lives to go.
2. Process - understanding the importance of how we engage with the journey, and the moments on that journey.
3. Character - recognising how the qualities and capabilities we develop in ourselves  strengthen our ability to face challenges and shape our future.
Rather than treating hope as simply wishing for a better future, we'll explore how it can be supported by the way we think, act, and direct our lives.
The Aim of the Workshop
To better understand how working on your direction, process and, character can develop a more controlled and hopeful approach to the future.
